Battle for the Commander in Chief Trophy 🏆

Both teams come in to this game with 5 wins

It’s the 124th rivalry game between both of them. Navy leads the series at 62-54-7

Navy - the midshipmen come in to this game with a new coach and utilize a run heavy triple option offense just with a new wrinkle here and there added to it. They stared the season off slow but have picked up some momentum as the season closed. First year coach Brian Newbury is getting the most out of his guys later in the year despite losing its last game to a strong SMU team.

On defense they have a lockdown defense in the red zone ranking third in the nation in red zone efficiency. They stop the run pretty well running a 3-3-5 defense.

Army- Army comes into this game on a red hot streak in November. The knights didn’t lose one game in November. While they too have a stingy defense the offense hasn’t been too bad either. They have a quarterback who can run the ball effectively and it’s important in this offense.

With the total posted at a whopping low 27.5 expect it to be a classic army vs. Navy slugfest. These games always tend to be grinder type games with offenses struggling to score but would be hard to take an under on such a low total after all if you watch NfL at all you see what happened to that los total this past Thursday night.

Enjoy your Saturday and if you have a side in this game good luck!
