Cj's Lean: Steelers v. Bills

The Steelers and the Bills will kick off in the first of 2 games today for us to enjoy!

Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Steelers will be without top pass rusher TJ Watt. This down not bode well for the Steelers straight up without TJ Watt are 1-10 all time. Coach Mike Tomlin does get his guys up for games when they’re an underdog so they have that going for them. Mason Rudolph has helped the offense a bit and ignited George Pickens and Dionte Johnson a bit. They squeaked their way into the playoffs and needed help in every angle but nevertheless they’re here. The Steelers are a scrappy team and are used to playing in bad weather so we’ll see how this scenario will play out for them in the game.

Buffalo Bills:

The Bills are one of the hottest teams entering the playoffs winning their last 5 games. Buffalo is 7-2 at home this season and Orchards park is always a tough environment for opposing teams to play in. The wind might take away one of the bills biggest weapons the passing game and Josh Allen. Although the bills passing game could be affected by the wind they have been running the ball more with new OC Joe Brady calling plays. That’s worked out for them lately and could be a factor in this game with the wind putting the passing game in doubt. They have a 140 point differential in the NFL which is the 4th best which means they do beat up on teams when they have opportunities to.

The spread sits at Bills -10 and the total at 38.5 at the time of this writing. All in all I think the weather will still play a bit of a factor in this game today cold and slightly windy but as we saw in the Lions and Rams game yesterday games tend to slow down in the 2nd half. I think earlier in the game will present more opportunities for points than later.

My lean: First Half over 18.5
